To tell? Or not to tell? That, is the question

Im reading a book called "Numbers" by Rachel Ward. Jem and her friend Spider run away to find a new life. Spider still has Tatto Face's money (Tatto Face was a guy that assigned spider to do a job for him) Tatoo face finds Spider and Jem running away and took the money back but Spider fights Tatto face and then Jem and Spider run away. Spider wants to know when he will die and then Spider ends up in jail. Now Jem wants to free hom but doesn't know how. While She is thinking about saving Spider she knows his death date and Spiders mom put all trust into Jem to keep Spider safe.
A lot of stress is being put on Jem to do so much work over so little time, Jem has a lot on her plate, she wants to not only break Spider out of jail but figure out a way to keep him alive for the sake of Spiders mother. I also think that Spider has a lot to think about to, how to keep Jem safe and also making sure he doesn't find out his death date so he doesn't worry too much because it could be traumatizing to know what your death date is. I can relate to both characters in the way of having a lot on your mind and a lot to worry about, especially in school where you need to think about so much and you have so many priorities to accomplish or else there is a bad consequence that you don't want to face. I can completely relate to that and I bet any 8th grader that has high school and school work to think about it can be a lot on your plate. But Jem and Spider are in a deeper problem, this is life and death they are gambling with, Spider and Jem took the chance of possibly being hunted down and killed just to find a better life.
I think Spider did a good and bad thing. One way he did a good thing was how he wanted to give Jem a better life, something exciting that will change her forever, all he wanted was a better life. Spider did not think this out, he was blinded by the amazing future he dreamed of having with Jem. Spider didn't think about how he has two thousand dollars of Tattoo Face's money that wasn't supposed to be used for personal use, he forgot about when the Ferris wheel fell and he and Jem were caught running away and that the police are looking for them. Spider did try his best to do what he really wanted, this shows that Spider will do anything to get what he wants. Jem on the other hand came along knowing that Spider was going to die at some point and she is in responsibility by his mother that  put Spider in her hands. Jem is really trying to keep Spiders mind off his death date which is approaching soon. I really wonder if Jem is going to tell spider or not, is she going to break down in pressure and tell him? that's what i expect.
We wont know until next time...

Numbers by Rachel Ward

Im reading a book called Numbers by Rachel Ward. This book is about a girl that can see peoples death dates when she looks in her eyes. And the main character whos name is Jem has another friend named spider. Spider is an outgoing active student who has silly tactics and ways of doing things. Jem is a girl that can see peoples death dates.
I find it really creepy that Jem can see other peoples death dates. I remember in the book Jem sees her moms death date and came home to find her dead on that same date. Jem doesnt want to look into other peoples eyes mostly the people she knows this is because she doesnt want to know when they will die and she cant stop it. This book reminds me of the movie Final Destination where the main character could see how and where people will die.
I honestly completely agree for Jem to not look in peoples eyes. I think this because it could cause her a lot of trauma or fear of even seeing anything. I wonder if Jem will hide her self from the world or if she will run away. I wonder if she will see spiders death date, but if she does what would happen? Would she try to help? Or not help?
